The National Veterinary Hospital celebrated World Veterinary Day

The National Veterinary Hospital celebrated World Veterinary Day today in the presence of the team conducting the ongoing biorisk assessment for veterinary laboratories. World Veterinary Day is observed annually on the last Saturday of April. This year’s theme, “Veterinarians: Guardians of Food Safety and Health,” highlights the critical and far-reaching role of veterinary services in ensuring food safety, food security, public health, and animal health across the globe.

On this occasion, we extend our warm wishes to all livestock personnel and veterinary professionals, and sincerely applaud their invaluable contributions many of which often go unnoticed. Your dedication remains fundamental to protecting both animal and public health.

The celebration served not only as a moment to recognize the commitment and hard work of veterinary professionals, but also as an opportunity to raise awareness about the essential role we play in society.

The event was generously sponsored by The Pema by Realm. We express our heartfelt gratitude for their support and for acknowledging the important work carried out by veterinary professionals.
