Sterilization program at RSCPA and JANGSA Animal Shelters

A team from National Veterinary Hospital conducted a successful day-long sterilization program for dogs and cats at the RSPCA and JANGSA animal shelters. The team consisted of two veterinary doctors and three vet nurses, all working together to ensure the highest standards of care. The procedure was carried out in a clean, controlled environment, adhering to all recommended practices to minimize the risk of complications and ensure the well-being of the animals. The staff from the shelters assisted in catching and transferring the animals to and from the surgical area. They also provided essential post-surgery care, ensuring the animals were closely monitored during their recovery.

A total of 18 dogs and 2 cats were sterilized during the program. The initiative was made possible through collaboration with the dedicated staff at both the RSPCA and JANGSA shelters. Additionally, RSPCA provided a refreshing lunch for all participants.

This program was part of an ongoing effort to support animal welfare and contribute to the health and safety of sheltered animals.
